Confused by Thailand Visa for long holiday?

Im going for a 35 day trip to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. When i arrive i am leaving Thailand almost straight away to go to Vietnam then coming back to Thailand at the end. Will i be able to get a 30 day visa on arrival and then renew it when i re-enter or will that not work because i dont have a flight out of Thailand within 30 days of arriving? Thanks!

on arrival at Thailand you will be issued with a transit visa which is valid for 30 days and cancelled when you leave Thailand. On your return to Thailand you will be issued with a new 30 day transit visa. So you have no problems

You will have no problems. Since your stay in Thailand will not exceed 90 days, and you will get 2 VOAs, you are well within the current limits.

If you stay in Thailand for 90 days, you can make 2 border runs to extend your visa for 30 days. After that you are required to get a proper tourist visa. You, however, have nothing to worry about.

Enjoy your trip!!

Yes you can. You will get a 30-day entry pass each time you enter Thailand and you can get a max of 3 such passes in a 6 months period. That is how it works. So no issue for your holidays.

You will have no problems...dependent on your passport you are allowed 3 X 30 day VOA's in a 6 month period
