I want to go on holiday to Thailand, when is the best time to go?

And can you recommend a good resort for couples?

Sept to Feb would be a good time (bearably hot getting cooler in Dec) to go unless you love the heat which can be really hot in other months. For shopping, massage plus sightseeing - go to Bangkok BUT be prepared for the new airport which still has some problems since it opened early this year. Chiangmai (further north of Bangkok) is also a nice place to visit for some shopping, spa/ massage and culture. It is also cooler than Bangkok. For beach resorts, go to Phuket, Koh Samui or Krabi.

You can go anytime ,just take a small brolly with you if you go in the rainy season ,We have been in june/july & sept

We are going again on the 2nd of june We stay at thr BEL-AIRE PRINCESS In bangkok ,its in a great location for everything ( shopping & sightseeing)

We have been to koh-samui & pattaya ,this time we are going to phuket

For your first trip go to bangkok then to the beach ,3 nts in bangkok is enough to see everything

I thing Nov-Sep.there not very hot.Place near the beach is Pattaya ,Koh chang it nice place.convenion.I stay there before.

The best time to go is November to March (or even April as the others suggest - but that could be getting too hot already)

This is winter in Thailand and the heat is bearable and not much rain.

But it is also a peak time for tourists.

You ask for "resorts" - so I guess you are looking for seaside places. There are so many resorts - depends on where in Thailand you want to go.

Do some research on the net. There are so many sites that will tell you. Invest in a travel book. Lonely Planet Guide is generally quite reliable.

The best time is between Nov - Jan. The weather is really great then but it tends to get crowded with tourists. As for accommodations which city you planning to visit? Plenty ofgood hotels to choose from.

Depend what you like to do. Beach and swimming? probably Nov. - Feb. Landvistits, Tours , there is no limit.
