PLEASE HELP! Just about to book a holiday to Thailand 6th may till 16th in Pattaya - Is it going to rain alot?

So many sites keep telling me different.

Please help.. how much will it rain? Will it be enough to spoil my holiday.. If i want rain i mgiht aswell stay in London! :p

If it rains, it's a tropical rain. It will be nice and hot then you'll get a shower that last 30 minutes - 1 hour and then the sun returns and becomes humid. The average amount of rain on May 6 is .23 cm and it continues to increase to .34 cm on May 16.

I'm not sure when there'll be a monsoon this year. Usually, rainy starts since May till the middle of October. But everything seems messed up, can never tell.

BUT trust me I've been in Pattaya once in May, it rained all day, BUT not (almost) all the time like in London. It won't spoil your day and yeah it usually doesn't rain at noon or night (dawn and evening frequently, sometimes in afternoon).

Anyway, if you just want to have a wonderful time with blue sea and sunny sky, don't go to Pattaya! (It's more amazing at night I think)

There will be a fair amount of rain but it will not stop you having a fantastic holiday. It tends to pour down for a few hours but is dry within an hour. Remember it will still be warm. I have been on the beach in Pattaya when it has started pouring. Just carried on as normal, people still in swimming or sitting under the many umbarellas drinking and eating.

yeah it will rain but probably only an hour about 3 oclock in the afternoon is usual there plenty of sun to be had too if pattaya is not your cup of tea then catch the baht bus about 35p to jomtiem where the beaches are longer and wider have a good time

If it does rain its not the same as the uk,you have lovely hot sun then a sudden downpour then sun again.Only happens about once a day.Plent of hot sun enjoy.
