Where can i book a holiday to thailand from belfast or dublin. we would like to stay 3 nights here and 3 there

we want this to be aspecial holiday and split 14 nights into 3 or 4 different places

You could book your own flights yourself! Check the airline websites and put the data in and see what the prices are for the airfare. You should check with the airlines websites anyway because otherwise how would you know if you got a good deal from a discounter if you don't know the price they have to beat?

You could even call the airlines reservations centers and find out how much the tickets would cost. Ask the airlines for advice on which days would be cheaper to fly. Sometimes by changing your departure date by a few days can save you lots of money.

When you get to Thailand plan on spending a few days in Bangkok in the beginning of your trip and at least one day the night before you fly home. This way there would be less chance of missing your flight home because the connecting flight is late or canceled. The last night in Bangkok would give you a chance for some last minute shopping too!

You can book hotel rooms on your own, but if you want a travel agency to do it for you you can start in your own home town so you have an idea of what prices you have to compare other companies against.

I would stick with 3 specific areas otherwise you would be spending a lot of time at airports or on planes or trains. In Bangkok, as well as Chiang Mai or Pattaya you can easily get tours booked through travel agencies after you arrive in Thailand. Tour bookings are pretty easy! Go to a travel agency, check the sample tours book, choose a tour and the tour company picks you up at your hotel and returns you there at the end of the tour.

Good luck.

3 nights here and there... where and where? and 14 nights u mean in thailand? where exactly do you want to go in thailand? cities or the islands?

You really need to be a bit more clear, bcos right now I'm wringing my hair out!

There are many ways to plan a holiday to Thailand - do you want to plan it urself or settle for tour operator? Many people book flights and hotels themselves (you get good discounts online) and then arrange for day trips.

try looking on vrbo.com - vacation rentals by owner - you can usually get some really great deals on houses or condos.
