Do i need a visa to holiday in thailand?

do i need a visa to go on holiday to thailand for 2 weeks?

It depends on what country you hold a passport with. If you are from the USA, Canada, or western Europe you won't need a visa for 2 weeks in Thailand. Your status is visa exempt for 30 days. Your passport will be stamped with your arrival date and date you must depart Thailand.

If you have a UK passport:

1) No. There's something called the Visa Waiver Scheme that UK nationals fall into if they come to Thailand on holiday for 30 days or less.

2) No. You'll get a 30 day visa waiver stamp from immigration when you land in Thailand. This will allow you to stay in Thailand for up to 30 days without a formal visa.

No. You will probably be issued a 30-day visa on entry into Thailand.

(Hopefully, despite recent events, Suvarnabhumi Airport will be open) !

Most western passport holders get a 30 day tourist visa stamped free of charge on arrival in Thailand

Not if you are from the UK, just get a stamp at immigration as it's good for a month.
