Any ideas on a really cheap holiday?

For the last five years my son (11) has had to watch his friends go abroad on holiday without us being able to. I can't even afford a holiday in the UK. I am trying to find a really cheap holiday in the Med or Balearics. My budget is up to £200 each adult cause I need to allow for eating, a little spend and get to the airport and back home.

Teletext holidays are good. Also eclipse direct are the direct company for first choice so they are cheaper (cutting out the middleman!). Their last minute deals are really cheap. The web addresses are www.eclipsedirect.co.uk and www.teletextholidays.co.uk

Have a look on ebay, sometimes there are really good last minute bargains to be had. If you can leave at short notice, i.e. 4 or 5 days then you might be in luck. Hope you can find something to get away from this dreadful English weather. Good luck !!

Why not try a Med camping holiday , South France , Northern Spain , takes a while travelling , cheap and good fun ..

have a look a ww.lastminute.com - the other thing you could do is look on ceefax (if that still exists) at last minute deals...

you could lool up RyanAir.com and usually flights are going for 1pence each, but they go quickly, sometimes they go for £10 pp each including tax, each way but if you leave if right to the last few days before you want to fly out you will get it even cheaper .... then once you have booked the flights, book a hotel in the area again usually going dirt cheap, some half board others self catering, if youre lucky all inclusive ..

You may struggle to find a cheap deal during the school summer holidays. However, take a look at Teletext on your tv their website http://ww0.teletextholidays.co.uk/Holidays/Package_Holidays/ to see if there are any deals there. You could try lastminute.com http://www.lastminute.com/site/travel/holidays/ but I don't think they are as cheap as they used to be.

Yeah, you could go to Cancun, it's affordable and beautiful.

Try Turkey, Ive seen loads of cheap deals plus when you get there its dirt cheap.

I think you could find something all-inclusive for this price, but only well out of the holiday season. Try searching on the interenet or teletext.

Formula one hotels are really cheap. They are basic but good value. search for formul1 hotels and you will see what i mean. Hope you do get to go away....
