Moneys tight but I really want to go abroad for a week in August. I look for flights but they are all about 400 pounds!
I would like a package holiday but is this more expensive???
Does anyone know where you can get a really cheap holiday, to any sunny destination, i don't care where i go so long as there is sun sea and sand!!!

Well if you're in London, guess you can go to the Mediterranean, but since it's summer, it'll probably be PACKED.
Another option you have is to get an all-inclusive in Dominican Republic or Cancun. It's actually the 'low' season so the all-inclusive prices are the lowest, just don't know about the flight prices from London. And of course, the good thing about all-inclusive is that you get there on day 1, leave your wallet in the safe, and take it back when you're leaving :) Nothing like being at the pool or beach and walking, get a beer or cocktail and go back to lying down

Alternatively - choose Ryanair or one of the cheaper flight companies. Book your flights and look for accommodation in that area - which is cheaper than a package deal.
Why go abroad. The suns finally arrived in the UK. Shorten your footprint and stay local. Short breaks in the UK can be cheaper, but just as much fun.

Go for Corfu, Crete or somewhere, late deals you can get all inclusive for around £200pp....have a look on expedia etc, theres loads of late deals online, keep looking, u will find a bargain!
