Booking Thailand holiday on the internet?

A group of me n some other youngin's are going overseas for the first time. Has anyone ever booked a holiday to Thailand through the internet? If so, I have a few questions..

What sites did you use, and how did you go about it?

What hotels do you recommend in Bangkok?(3-4star) I'm looking for something between Au$60 - $80 a night with nice rooms, nice pool etc.

How many days do you recommend in Bangkok, Koh Samui & Phuket? And in which order? Thanks!

Help appreciated by anyone thats been there or lives there.

Montien in Bangkok right off the Patpng Market, you literally walk out the front door and there it is.

We stayed at the Hard Rock at Pattaya as well but I can only say not bad.

We have booked the BanThai in Phuket this year looks wonderful

I would suggest though that Koh Samui is out of your way, but if your intent on getting there as well.

Bangkok, Koh Samui then Phuket and back to Bangkok to exit the country. We did Bangkok after Pattaya and were a little tired so we didnt get the whole experience

Try http://www.discovery-thailand.com. There's lots of hotel reviews available.

Considering your price range, I believe Centre Point Petchburi Hotel Bangkok (4 stars) is the best!! it's approx. Au$ 65. The value for the money, the ease to shopping and the services available close to the Centre Point can't be beat. Laundry, entertainment syatem, internet and a kitchen.....etc, everything you need is there. You'll feel like home, so it's abusolutely brilliant for the first abroad trip. There are several good foot massage places right outside the hotel.

erm.. you want to go Bangkok? I think Pattaya Good better, Bangkok have alot of people and car! , Pattaya have a beauteful beach and good place to visit, by the way Bangkok is good too! Have so many place to visit, it up to you. haha If you want to go to Pattaya you can use this website to see more Pattaya and Booking Pattaya Hotels in low price. http://www.pattayacity.in.th If you want to go to Bangkok you use this website http://www.bangkok.com/ Hope you enjoy in Thailand =D
