Where is it best to learn sailing in Thailand?

I am planning my next holiday for Thailand. I am not sure yet where to go. East coast or west coast. There seem to be many possibilities for sailing and to learn sailing.

I had the best sailing experience actually on Koh Tao which is situated on Thailand's east coast. There is only one Yacht Charter operator on this beautiful tropical Island called Island Cruises. They do as well four day sailing safaris to the nearby Ang Thong national marine park besides sailing courses. The courses are from absolute beginner level and can keep you busy for a week.The Island itself is a very nice place to spend your vacation with lots of night life and gives you as well a chance to have a stint over to neighboring Island Koh Phangan for the famous Fullmoon Party.
