Will the connections be the same if I bought a digital camera from Thailand?

I am getting my friend to but me a digital camera whilst on her holiday in Thailand but another friend told the the connections might not be the same if I want to use it in England?

Will the USB Cable be ok to use in England?

+ will it be compatible with my computer?

yes, the connections on digital equipment is usually universally compatible.

a usb cable is the same in japan as it is in russia, the us, the uk or anywhere else

If it has it's own battery charger or charges by plugging in directly to the mains, the plug will be different. A travel adaptor will solve this but worth bearing in mind.

The connections will be the same,but you'd better hope nothing goes wrong with it,the guarantee won't be worth much.
